We welcome around 120 students into Year 7 each year. This is our Planned Admission Number. The Academy Admissions Policy can be found on the policies page.
The applications for transferring from primary School to Year 7 are dealt with by Somerset Council. You will need to apply through the Somerset Council website – a link to their information page is here.
Once the school year has started, if you want to make a last-minute application please complete our application form and return it to the school office via our School Office email address on our Contact Us page. You are also welcome to contact us to arrange a visit before you apply.
The Academy runs an annual open evening each September to help show prospective students and families what we can offer. Open mornings are also offered, and ad-hoc visits can be arranged through the Academy office.
