Trips, Visits and Extra Curricular Activities
Extra-curricular activities (Ansford Extra) offer a significant contribution to the whole curriculum in that they enhance provision and provide students with opportunities to involve themselves in activities, which they might not normally experience.
The academy’s News Update is used to celebrate the achievements of students taking part in extra-curricular activities. Activities are advertised through the academy’s weekly bulletin.
The curriculum is also enriched by outside speakers and visit the academy on a regular basis.
Special events are also arranged including music productions and concerts.
Current special projects involve Business Link activities with various partners.
